Scream And Shout is the UK’s most listened to track for a third week

Will.I.Am and Britney Spears’ Scream And Shout tops the UK’s Official Streaming Chart for a third consecutive week. Plus: Biffy Clyro’s Black Chandelier and Macklemore / Ryan Lewis’ Thrift Shop shoot up the chart!

For the third week running, US duo Will.I.Am and Britney Spears (or Brit.I.Am as we like to call them) can claim the title of the UK’s most listened to track, as Scream And Shout remains atop the Official Streaming Chart. The Official Streaming Chart is compiled by the Official Charts Company on behalf of the British music industry, and is the only chart which ranks audio streams from both ad-funded and subscription streaming services in the UK.

Calvin Harris and Tinie Tempah’s Drinking From The Bottle climbs four places from Number 6 to Number 2, while 2012 X Factor winner James Arthur’s Impossible is down one place to Number 5.

This week’s Official Streaming Chart Top 5 is completed by The LumineersHo Hey (Number 4) Bruno MarsLocked Out Of Heaven (down two to Number 5).

New Entries And High Climbers

There are five new entries on this week’s Chart, with the lion’s share belonging to Biffy Clyro. Following their new album, Opposites, debuting at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart this past Sunday, three tracks from the record have entered the Official Streaming Chart. Different People leads the charge at Number 69, followed by Sounds Like Balloons at Number 84 and Opposite at Number 99. This week’s new entries are completed by Flo Rida’s Let It Roll (Number 80) and A$AP Rocky’s Wild For The Night FT Skrillex (96).

Biffy Clyro are also responsible for this week’s highest climbing track, with Black Chandelier up 53 places from Number 79 to number 26, while Macklemore and Ryan LewisThrift Shop FT Wanz and Justin Timberlake’s Suit And Tie FT Jay-Z, both surge up 34 places to Number 16 and Number 39, respectively.
