Robbie Williams starts work on new album

The Take That star revealed on his official blog that he’s currently “tucked away at the top of a mountain in a very pleasant wooden studio near Malibu” working on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2009’s Reality Killed The Video Star.

Robbie Williams has begun work on his new album.

The Take That star revealed on his official blog that he’s currently “tucked away at the top of a mountain in a very pleasant wooden studio near Malibu” working on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2009’s Reality Killed The Video Star.

“I'm ready for a fight and I think this batch of tunes will make for excellent knuckle dusters,” he added.

The album is expected to be released later this year. As we reported last year, it will be Williams’ first release for Take That’s record company, Universal, after leaving his long-time label, EMI.
