'90s pop legend and mega-hit songwriter Cathy Dennis will return to the stage this summer for her first live appearance in 20 years.

Cathy, who scored a string of hits in the early '90s including Touch Me (All Night Long), has been added to the bill at this year's Mighty Hoopla festival. She joins previously announced performers including All Saints, Bananarama, Samantha Mumba, Bananarama, Liberty X and Jamelia.

As well as her own hits, Cathy has written several huge singles, including Kylie Minogue's Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Britney's Toxic, Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl and most of S Club 7's singles.

Her first major songwriting credit for another act was with Bumper to Bumper, the B-side to Spice Girls' debut single Wannabe. In 2008 she collaborated with Mark Ronson and more recently wrote with successful dance act Galantis.

Cathy's return to the live stage marks her 30th anniversary in the music business, having made her debut in 1989 with Top 20 hit C'mon and Get My Love.

Tickets for this year's Mighty Hoopla festival, held in London's Brockwell Park, are on sale now.

I miss her so much. She was great. Her first album was a dance classic. Perfect album from A to Z. Her second still had 4 or 5 great songs. Too bad about her 3rd and last album which was way too different for my taste. I didn't like it so much. I so wish she would get back to her 90's dance roots.
