Plan B is gearing up to release the first taster of his hotly anticipated, third studio record, Ill Manors, at the end of this month. The BRIT Award-winner will release the album’s title track as a single on March 26.

Ill Manors is a radical departure from Plan B's 2010 Number 1 concept album, The Defamation Of Strickland Banks, and will see the four times platinum star to his rap roots to tackle real-life social issues.

”Since the riots happened I haven't heard enough people within the public sector asking the two most important questions; 'Why did it happen and how can we prevent it from happening again?',” explains Plan B. “I do have a theory as to why and how but first I need to make my point. And I’ve chosen satire to do so.

“The point being made in my song Ill Manors is that society needs to take some responsibility for the cause of these riots,” he adds. “Why are there so many kids in this country that don't feel they have a future, or care about having a criminal record?”

In keeping with the explosive nature of the track, Ill Manors has been remixed by seminal dance metal outfit The Prodigy and dubstep producer FuntCase. Check out the video below.

Ill Manors, the album, will be released on May 14, and will by a film, written and directed by Plan B, on May 4.
