Olivia Rodrigo has been confirmed as the seventh performer taking to the stage at the 2021 BRIT Awards.
The US rising star, whose debut single Drivers License spent nine weeks at Number 1 on the UK's Official Singles Chart, will make her UK debut performance on the biggest night in British music, taking place this year on Tuesday May 11 from London's O2 Arena.
Olivia commented: "I’m so excited that my first time in the U.K. will be spent at The BRITs! My U.K. fans have been beyond supportive of me, and I’m so excited to perform for them on this iconic stage."
Olivia is gearing up to release her debut album SOUR on Friday May 21, a collection that she has said is inspired by Alanis Morissette, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves.
Drivers License was the UK's longest-reigning Number 1 debut single of the past 15 years, and is the UK's biggest song of 2021 so far.
Also performing on the BRITs stage this year are Rag'n'Bone Man & Pink, BRITs Rising Star winner Griff and two-time winner Dua Lipa, plus three-time nominee Arlo Parks and chart-topping rapper Headie One.
The BRIT Awards 2021 will feature 4,000 fans in attendance, all of whom will not need to social distance or wear face masks as part of a government trial event.
