Viral sensation Nathan Evans, a former postman from Scotland, claims this week’s highest new entry with a remix of sea shanty Wellerman ft. 220 Kid & Billen Ted sailing straight in at Number 3.

Wellerman earns Nathan the highest-charting debut single by a Scottish artist on the Official Chart in nearly a decade, since Emeli Sande reached Number 2 with Heaven back in 2011.

Celebrating his newfound chart success, Nathan told OfficialCharts.com: “It is absolutely amazing and so surreal. Never in a million years would I have thought I’d have gone from a postman to having a song sitting third in the charts in the space of two weeks. It’s incredible!”

A more traditional rendition of Wellerman by Bristol band The Longest Johns also appears in the Top 100 at Number 52.

Meduza ft. Dermot Kennedy’s Paradise climbs up one place and into the Top 5 for the first time this week, delivering Ireland’s Dermot Kennedy a personal best in the UK.

I'm sure the song could grow on me but I'm afraid as soon as I hear another cutesy girl voice putting on what sounds like a faux Irish accent I immediately switch off. Just sing in your normal voice and you'll sound far more unique.

Still no sign of mention in UK Charts, still saying just Shane Codd on Out Of My Head, where is Solah!? she the girl who sings the track.

But that with streaming points added with sales, actually it only done 11,317 pure sales within 3 weeks in UK, so a long long way to go, It going to be a while till it break 100K pure sales, maybe summer who knows? will it get 300K by the end of the year it may. but no one does millions now it a different world

Well if Radio 2 plays it as well then it crosses all ages unlike Rap,Rap,Rap and more Rap (The Us Billboard was dominated with much of this and R& B in the 90s so as usual we are slow to catch up with changing trends).

A 3x lead in Week 3 for a debut single?! :O

I know that the opinions on 'Drivers License' are very mixed across this forum, but you've still got to admit that those are some impressive numbers. :)

Congratulations again, Olivia! ;)

They are impressive numbers. I'm still not sure how they just appeared from nowhere! I personally think it's just mediocre and still not grown on me so given how quick it rose to fame I don't think it ever will but its popularity cannot be denied.

86000 is a great score for no 1 but for it to be 3:1 that means Kid Laroi has to be below 30000 which I think is extremely low for no 2. I am surprised at that as I thought top 3 were all very strong songs

It maybe Big Streaming Number but the pure sales are terrible only 11,317 in 3 weeks, we know it about streaming as it shows by the total units of about 297,751 in 3 Weeks in UK (which is huge already this year figures). shows that people are streaming than paying for artists!, Streaming is Popular, and quick, but the sales downloads and physical is still a true form of who people support (Pay For) and want to see in shows, and big fans.

At the moment, I could honestly see 'Drivers License' being #1 until ACR strikes it! :O

Well, in fact the streams maybe high Streaming Points for units, but the pure sales isn't, as it only done 11K copies in 3 weeks for a top track! that not great, very poor!, so which means buy/Paying for the track has only clocked up: 11,317 sales, in 3 weeks of release, that showcases how low the pure sales is, i wonder if there will just do Streams only for radio 1 charts for the future, it just silly mixing the sales with streams for units together.i much prefer the days of just sales and physicals only, times have changed now. bring me back rules before 2014, or even 2007 where it was just single edits only than album tracks combined

I think the love triangle, TikTok & all the celebrity support for it certainly helped, but even that doesn't explain why it's still getting millions of streams every day! :O

Pity the only five artists who can end her streak are keeping us in suspense...Adele ,Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi...and maybe Ariana Grande and Drake. So far now she remains untouchable.

Even Ed couldn't stop Olivia, since 'Afterglow' got blocked at #2 earlier in the month! :O
