Official Charts Advent Calendar 2012: Day 4

The countdown to Christmas and New Year has begun, so OfficialCharts.com is celebrating by looking back at all the Number 1s of 2012 with our very own virtual Advent Calendar!

It’s Day 4, so here’s the fourth Official Number 1 single of 2012 – David Guetta FT Sia’s Titanium.

After 12 weeks on the Official Singles Chart, Titanium finally took the top spot on February 5. It sold 86,000 copies in the week it went to Number 1, and has sold 905,000 copies so far this year (958,000 to date) making it the fourth biggest selling single of 2012 so far.

Titanium was the first Guetta track to feature Australian singer / songwriter Sia Furler. He later worked with her on She Wolf (Falling to Pieces), which peaked at Number 8 on the Official Singles Chart in August of this year.
