Ocean’s 8 set to steal the Number 1 spot on the Official Video Charts

The heist film is racing ahead of the competition this week.

It looks like a serious shake up is on the cards for this week’s Official Video Chart.

Ocean’s 8 is the front-runner for Number 1, with the all-female addition to the Ocean's franchise currently 6,000 sales ahead of its closest competition. If it holds on, it would steal the crown from four-week leader Solo: A Star Wars Story.

New at Number 2 is The Complete Second Season of The Crown, while former chart-topper The Greatest Showman, looks set to stay at Number 3.

Also new this week, second-world-war drama Hurricane is currently at Number 4 but could still be knocked down – previous four-week Number 1 holder, Solo: A Star Wars Story is just 300 sales behind at Number 5.

New entries and high climbers

A special Blu-ray edition of classic horror film Night of the Demon, featuring four different cuts of the film, is also new this week and could land a Top 10 debut at Number 10 - currently fewer than 100 sales behind Halloween favourite Hocus Pocus at Number 9. Monster Family enters at 16; and Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 opens at Number 18.

Four more new releases could be entering this week's Top 40. Ash vs Evil Dead: Complete third Season (22), Universal’s The Bookshop (25), Hangman (26) and American drama Chicago Fire: Season 6 (32).
