Niall Horan set for second Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart with Heartbreak Weather

Niall Horan is on track to claim his second Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart with new record Heartbreak Weather.

The singer-songwriter from Mullingar has a lead of over 4:1 with his second studio album, this week's biggest album on CD, download and streaming formats.

Niall's first album Flicker was a chart-topping debut in 2017, and adding to his success in One Direction, Niall (and Harry Styles) appeared on more Number 1 albums than any other act.

On the singles chart, Niall could score his fifth Top 10 single as No Judgement rockets 25-8 midweek, while Black and White (16) and Heartbreak Weather (23) could become his ninth and tenth Top 50 appearances as a solo artist.

Niall is not the only Irish act impacting the Official Irish Albums Chart this week. After securing the most vinyl sales so far this week, The Boomtown Rats are heading for Number 7, and trad group Clannad are at 13 currently with their farewell album In A Lifetime.
