New Beatles musical launched to mark band’s 50th anniversary

The Beatles released their debut single, Love Me Do, on October 5th, 1962. And, to celebrate The Fab Four’s 50th anniversary, a new musical has been commissioned.

The Beatles released their debut single, Love Me Do, on October 5th, 1962. And, to celebrate The Fab Four’s  50th anniversary, a new musical has been commissioned.

Dubbed Let It Be, the production will take over the Prince of Wales Theatre London’s West End for a limited run from September to January of next year.

The show boasts over 20 of The Beatles’ greatest hits including I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day’s Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields, When I’m 64, Hello Goodbye, Get Back, Twist and Shout, She Loves You and of course the title track.
