The winner of The Voice UK 2017 is Mo Adeniran.

The singer fought off competition in the final from Jamie Miller and Into The Ark to be crowned winner of the sixth series of the show. The prize is a deal with Polydor Records.

Mo will now go into the studio to record his winner's EP, which will be released in a few weeks.

"Thank you everyone at home, just want to say thank you to Jennifer and all the coaches," Mo said.

No official winner's single will be released, though a live performance of his winning song Unsteady is available to download and stream.

On tonight's final (April 2), the contestants each performed their favourite song from the series. Jamie sang Ed Sheeran's Shape Of You, Into The Ark did a duet version of Drake's Hold On We’re Going Home, while Mo gave a winning performance of Iron Sky by Paolo Nutini.

As well as performances from the contestants, the four coaches - Jennifer Hudson, Tom Jones, will.i.am and Gavin Rossdale took to the stage for an uplifting rendition of Freedom in memory of George Michael.

A fan also invaded the stage during the live final, while host Emma Willis was forced to apologise after Tom Jones swore, shouting "F**k me!" after Into The Ark were announced as finalists.
