Canadian crooner Michael Buble looks set to score his third UK Number 1 album this weekend, according to today’s Official Albums Chart Update. Plus: New entries for Fall Out Boy, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Angel and more!

Michael Buble is heading towards his third UK Number 1 album in a row this weekend, the Official Charts Company can reveal. The Canadian crooner’s latest full-length, To Be Loved, is currently in pole position on today’s Official Albums Chart Update after clocking up sales of over 64,000 since it went on sale on Monday.

Featuring the Official Top 10 hit It’s A Beautiful Day, as well as collaborations with Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon, Canadian rocker Bryan Adams and Anglo-Italian vocal group The Puppini Sisters, To Be Loved is the follow-up to Buble’s mega-selling festive album, Christmas, which has sold a staggering 1.8 million copies in the UK since its release in October 2011.

Recently reunited rockers Fall Out Boy look set to debut one place behind him with their fifth album, Save Rock And Roll (2). Emeli Sande’s Our Version Of Events (3), P!nk’s The Truth About Love (4) and Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience (5) complete this week’s midweekTop 5.

New Entries

New York rockers Yeah Yeah Yeahs are on track for their third consecutive Top 10 album on Sunday with Mosquito (6), while US singer/songwriter Steve Earle enters just outside the Top 10 with The Low Highway (13).

This week’s new entries are completed by Iron And Wine’s Ghost On Ghost (32), Ghost BC’s Infestissumam (35), and the 40th anniversary edition of David Bowie’s iconic 1973 album, Aladdin Sane, at Number 39.
