Melanie C has released the music video for her thought-provoking new single Dear Life.

The contemplative track sees Mel discuss not knowing what direction life is going to take her, lyrics that run over scenes of a couple taking the next steps into their blossoming relationship. Melanie is seen singing with romantic video projections accompanying her stunning vocal.

Dear Life is the second single taken from Melanie's seventh studio album Version of Me, and follows the electronic lead release Anymore.

Melanie recently spoke about the partial Spice Girls reunion featuring Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell. Commenting on if her and Victoria Beckham were missing and what would that mean, Melanie said: "If there's only 3 of them, is it really the Spice Girls? If there's a piece missing, it's not complete."

This month marks 20 years since the Spice Girls released their debut album Spice, and OfficialCharts.com looked back at the record's legacy two decades on.

mel c is such a great singer, but her refuse to join the 2016 spice girls is such a stupid move. the 4 of them together could be this xmas number 1 (sorry but Victoria was never a singer). her album is good, but it is not spice girls...
