Maroon 5 hang on to the top place in the Official Streaming Chart with single Payphone this week, despite having been bumped off the top spot in the Official Singles Chart by Florence & The Machine.

The Official Streaming Chart, which is compiled by the Official Charts Company on behalf of the British music industry, was launched in May of this year. It is the first chart which ranks audio streams from both ad-funded and subscription streaming services in the UK, to reflect the growing interest in this new generation of music services such as Spotify, Deezer, Blinkbox Music, and Napster.

The Wiz Khalifa-assisted Payphone holds the Number 1 spot for the second week running, having climbed steadily since it was made available for streaming four weeks ago, with Flo Rida`s Whistle hanging on at Number 2.

In a non-moving week for the Official Streaming Chart Top 10, Fun FT Janelle Monae and Carly Rae Jepsen are still riding high with We Are Young and Call Me Maybe in third and fourth place respectively, with Rudimental`s Feel The Love staying put at Number 5 in its seventh week on the Chart.

Nicki Minaj dashes her way to Number 50 with Pound The Alarm as this week’s highest new entry, with Florence & And The Machine coming in at number 65 with their Official Singles Chart-topper Spectrum. Chris Brown climbs twelve places with Turn Up the Music to Number 60, whilst Jay-Z, Kanye West & Frank Ocean jump eleven notches to Number 41 with No Church In The Wild.
