Love Actually has been named as the biggest-selling Christmas film on disc of all time.

The festive favourite has sold over 3.5 million copies on disc (DVD and Blu-Ray) since its release in 2004. The Richard Curtis classic is a star-studded affair following the lives of eight different couples in a frantic month before Christmas, including Hugh Grant as the UK’s Prime Minister.

The top animated Christmas film, The Polar Express, sits at Number 2, followed by two films that are still selling well today: The Grinch (currently in this week’s Official Film Chart Top 10) and Elf. The oldest film on the Top 10 list, landing at 7, is It’s a Wonderful Life from 1946 starring James Stewart - the only title in the list in black and white.

Rounding off the top 10 is Miracle on 34th Street from 1994 (8), Santa Claus:The Movie (9) and Macaulay Culkin gets left Home Alone at 10.
