Little Mix are getting all Spanglish on us - the girls' new single is a collaboration with Latin boyband CNCO.

Jade, Jesy, Leigh-Anne and Perrie teased the news earlier today on their Twitter account with the message "Hay algo en el horizonte", which translates to "there is something on the horizon". That something - revealed at 4pm today (August 16) - is a boundary crossing new single.

UPDATE: Listen to Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos) and check out the lyrics below.

Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos) Lyrics

[Verse 1: Leigh-Anne & Jade Thirlwall & Perrie Edwards] Boy, I can see the way you dancing, move that body I know it's crazy, but I feel like you…

Little Mix confirmed the news by posting a 'Skype' call with the CNCO boys on Twitter. CNCO's Latin American hit Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos) will be remixed with additional vocals from Little Mix. The song will drop this Friday (August 18) and a clip was played in the announcement video.

The original version of Reggaetón Lento has over one billion views on YouTube, and has hit the Top 5 in the likes of Argentina, Chile, Guatemala and Paraguay, while also peaking at Number 2 in Spain.

The announcement was foreshadowed eight days ago when Little Mix tweeted how much they loved the track, sending rumours swirling across social media. A Little Mix fan account posted about the potential duet on Instagram, which was then cheekily liked by Little Mix's Jesy. Now we have the definitive confirmation!

So just who are CNCO? The boyband were formed when they won the hit South American TV show La Banda, a talent search devised by Ricky Martin and Simon Cowell. Each member is from a different territory: Chris (Ecuador); Richard (Dominican Republic); Zabdiel (Puerto Rico); Joel (United States with Mexican heritage); and Erick (Cuba).

CNCO released their debut album Primera Cita last August, with it peaking at Number 1 on the US Top Latin Albums Chart. Much like Spanish language hits from Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee, Enrique Iglesias and J Balvin in recent months, it looks like another huge Latin smash is about to shake up the Official Singles Chart.

Good for Little Mix! They deserve more attention outside of the UK. Also, I would take this song over Despacito ANYDAY!
