Listen to James Arthur’s new track Kryptonite with Rymez (1)

James Arthur has unveiled his new track Kryptonite.

The former X Factor champion has teamed up on the song with producer Rymez, whose credits include Wiley’s UK Top 40 Number 1 Heatwave and JME and Skepta’s Can You Hear Me (Ayayaya). Listen to a clip of the song below:

James said in a statement: “Having heard and loved Rymez’ work and hearing how diverse he can be, I was excited to get a chance to work together.”

Rymez added: "I had been wanting to work with James for a while due to his unique voice and his style. For me as an artist and producer I have wanted to show my spectrum of music and how diversified my production is.”

Kryptonite – released October 19 – heads up Rymez’ upcoming EP The Love Story.

The song marks James’ first release since his self-titled debut album, which hit Number 2 on the Official Album Chart in 2013. The LP spawned the Number 1, million-selling single Impossible and Top 40 singles You’re Nobody ‘til Somebody Loves You and Recovery.
