Lil Nas X, Kendrick Lamar and Jack Harlow lead MTV VMAs 2022 nominations: See the full list now

The nominations for this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) have been announced.

Leading the pack are Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow and Kendrick Lamar, all with seven nominations across numerous categories. Most of Nas and Jack's nominations stem from their collaboration Industry Baby, which is nominated for the biggest award of the night - Video of the Year.

The bulk of Kendrick's nominations come from categories that the public are not able to vote for; two nods for Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Visual Effects and Best Editing. 

Elsewhere, Doja Cat is this year's leading female nominee - with six nods across various categories, including both Song and Video of the Year for her Planet Her cut Woman.
