After weeks of upward trajectory, the Scottish DJ duo have their sights set on their first-ever chart topper.

After weeks of upward trajectory, LF SYSTEM are heading for their first UK Number 1 this week with Afraid To Feel, which has pulled into pole position in our Official Chart First Look. Discover more about LF SYSTEM in our exclusive chat with the Scottish DJ duo here.

George Ezra’s Green Green Grass will also be hoping to ascend to a new highest position on Friday; it’s currently up two to Number 3.

It could be quite the week for Ella Henderson, who is potentially looking at two entries in the Official Singles Chart Top 10; both Crazy What Love Can Do with David Guetta and Becky Hill (8) and 21 Reasons with Nathan Dawe (9).

MORE: Who are LF SYSTEM?

Burna Boy has been burning up the Official Afrobeats Chart with Last Last for weeks, and the fiery track could lift up to a new peak on the Official Singles Chart (17) entering the Top 20 for the first time.

And finally, this week’s highest new entry could belong to Paolo Nutini. Through The Echoes is taken from Paolo’s newest album Last Night In The Bittersweet, and it’s pacing for a Number 23 debut. It would be the Scottish singer-songwriter’s highest-charting single since 2014’s Scream (Funk My Life Up).

The Official Singles Chart Top 100 is revealed on OfficialCharts.com every Friday at 5.45pm. Follow the Top 40 countdown live on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart show with Scott Mills.

“Burna Boy has been burning up the Official Afrobeats Chart with Last Last for weeks, and the fiery track could lift up to a new peak on the Official Singles Chart (17) entering the Top 20 for the first time.”
NOT TRUE. It was at No 20 two weeks ago.

i think you find, Kate Bush has gone back to ACR! we go another 6 weeks to go! on SCR, what is goin on, unless there made a mistake, because looks like Kate is running at the top and hill over LF System Afraif to feel on SCR, but taking the hill down is ACR,

Unfortunately the week of the reset was a decline so she automatically went to DCL-1 that week (being older than 9 weeks on the chart in total, this was the start of a 3-week decline). This week she is up around 2,500 on the same time last week (~22,000; so 4,000 ahead), but because ACR is reinstated she officially is only on 11,400 (and about 143 behind Beyonce). Unfortunately this means that LF System will gat a fake no.1 this week. Only time will tell whether its entire run at no.1 will be fake or not....(like several 1 weeker's and even some 2-3 weeker's)

not to dampen the mood, but lf system are only at #1 because kate bush has gone back onto acr :( Its a 100% deserving #1, but for now, its only there because of acr

Very happy to see LF System at #1, but I guess that's only happened because RUTH has gone back onto ACR, just 3 weeks after it was lifted?

It looks that way. RUTH is still number one on Spotify's streaming ranking.

Yes, a reset is only until you get 3 weeks of decline and unfortunately the week of the reset was actually a decline and it has decline each week since (especially last week). The 2nd week it increased in overall sales due to real sales but unfortunately decreased in streams which rightly or wrongly is the only thing that counts nowadays as far as DCL/ACR. Since the song is over 3 years old a 25% increase compared with the market will also probably not lead to SCR.

, after 8 years, we’re finally looking at another good EDM Number 1. 😩

2014 was such a good year for the genre, if only it didn’t fall off completely after that. :(

what is goin on ? radio 1 and UK Singles must of pushed the acr on kate bush this week or this charts is a error, it hasnt been 9-10 weeks yet for Running Up That Hill at the Top, since this special reset, only been 4 week in fact.

It's 10 weeks in the chart overall before a song becomes eligible for ACR, not 10 weeks at #1. :)

Its the 10th week that the record would be on ACR if it declined weeks 7, 8 and 9.

Yeah, I meant that a song has to be on the chart for 10 weeks at the very earliest before it can be placed on ACR in cases like this. :)
