Lewis Capaldi storms to Number 1 on the Official Trending Chart with Hold Me While You Wait
Lewis Capaldi has another hit on his hands.
Released last week (Friday May 3) as an album pre-order instant grat, Hold Me While You Wait has went straight in at Number 1 on the Official Trending Chart. The song - on track to be Lewis' second Top 10 on the Official Singles Chart - achieved the most digital downloads as of yesterday's chart update.
Other songs creating buzz this week are Shawn Mendes' If I Can't Have You, further boosted by the release of its music video and an appearance on Saturday Night Live, and Homicide, the new collaboration from rappers Logic and Eminem.
Bugzy Malone's latest track M.E.N. II is also proving popular as are Mostack's Wild, Bastille's Joy, and Iggy Azalea's latest offering Started.
Fresh from their album release, Vampire Weekend impact the Top 20 with This Life, while following the incredible recent episodes of Game of Thrones, Ramin Djawadi's score The Night King brings winter to the Official Trending Chart.
