Kylie Minogue to release new single Dancing this Friday
Dig out your favourite shoes (or cowboy boots) and sharpest party outfit, because Kylie Minogue has announced details of her new album, called Golden
The singer's 14th studio album will be released on April 6, the first after signing to BMG Records.
Kylie has shared the artwork and track listing for Golden, which includes the titles One Last Kiss, Radio On and Shelby '68.
The four bonus tracks on the deluxe edition are:
Lost Without You
Every Little Part Of Me
Rollin'
Low Blow
Golden's lead single, Dancing, will be released on January 19. In a behind the scenes look at the song's accompanying music video, she said she had "ended up [going in] a different direction for sure, but essentially I'd still say it's very much a Kylie record."
Kylie had previously described the sound of her new record as "Dolly Parton standing on a dancefloor", so expect a hint of country flavour to the songs.
Kylie recently notched up her 50th Top 40 single on the Official Singles Chart after her rendition of festive classic Santa Baby reached Number 38 last month. Look back at her complete UK chart history here.

I think it will flop and won't get her eighth UK number one. Shame. She's good but not current. Yeh she has her fans but will her fans trully stand by her and buy her single and album and help her to get number ones. Look what happen to Madonna and a few other female singers. Shame

dont write madonna off... her last album leaked months in advance.. and still hit number 2 on uk charts. and number 1 on america ( sales). she may not have hit singles as before but the interest in her is up there . as it happens with every legacy artist, they sont sell a lot but have huge tours.. tell me if u2, stones, springsteen are selling...

one thing that Kylie is good at is working hard and promoting her new music everywhere (she even did a mini xmas gig in a persons back garden on the one show) so dont write her off she WILL be everywhere to sell Golden, i cant wait as Dancing is better then the whole of the played it once album.

Some great brains at work here, not least of all hers! Now I have plastered this everywhere because I think fans want for her to have a UK #1 again after all these years, please do all it takes to get her on radio there and record label, if a physical single can be released in good order, even as a loss leader, that could really solidify the whole thing.
