OfficialCharts.com caught up with Kylie Minogue on the red carpet of the Q Awards to get the low-down on her 25th anniversary album, The Abbey Road Sessions.

Kylie, who was attending Q magazine's annual awards bash to present the Best Act In The World Today Award to Muse, revealed some details about the new spins she's putting on some of her classic tracks she re-recorded for her upcoming 25th anniversary album.

"There's really interesting versions of all sorts of songs, from Can't Get You Out Of My Head to The Locomotion," says Kylie. "Never Too Late is just performed with the piano and is achingly beautiful, which you wouldn’t expect from the original ‘80s version. We've pretty much taken The Locomotion back full circle and it sounds like a '60s track. I'm so proud of the album!"

The Abbey Road Sessions, which is due for release next Monday (October 29), is also set to include new orchestral and acoustic versions of On A Night Like This, Better The Devil You Know, Confide In Me, Can't Get You Out Of My Head, and, of course, I Should Be So Lucky.

As well as Kylie celebrating her 25th anniversary this year, we're just a few weeks away from the 60th birthday of the Official Singles Chart, too! Stay tuned to OfficialCharts.com because later this week we'll be revealing the biggest selling female singles artists of all time. You can see the Top 10 biggest selling male artists of all time here.
