Some people wait a lifetime, for a Moment Like This.

It has been announced that Kelly Clarkson is to front her own TV talk show.

Starting in Autumn 2019, The Kelly Clarkson Show will see the Miss Independent singer will "bring her talent, humor, generosity and compassion to daytime", airing immediately before Ellen DeGeneres's flagship chat show.

The Kelly Clarkson Show will air on NBC's network in the United States, and has not yet been picked up for broadcast in the UK. Variety reports that the American Idol winner and her husband, talent manager Brandon Blackstock, will executive produce.

Paul Telegdy, president, Alternative & Reality Group, NBC Entertainment stated: "The incomparable Kelly Clarkson takes everything she touches to another level and we couldn’t be happier to bring her talent, humor, generosity and compassion to daytime next year. With Kelly’s cross-generational appeal and extraordinary ability to understand and connect with viewers, ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ will have something for everyone."

The official statement follows Kelly briefly chatting about her TV talk debut on  Tonight with Jimmy Fallon, where she explained that music is at the heart of the show:

"My show's going to be a bit different to anything that's been on because I'm still touring. My band are on the road with me or the show with me. We sing everyday on the show and do this fan request thing. It's very musical."
