Justin Time! Bieber’s back at Number 1

After a week in the wilderness, Justin Bieber’s What Do You Mean snatches back the top spot from Sigala.

The comebacks keep on coming for Justin Bieber. Two weeks after scoring his first ever UK Number 1 and his fastest selling single, Biebs is back at the top of the Official Singles Chart.

What Do You Mean, which set a new record for the highest first-week streams for a single at 3.2 million plays, was knocked off the summit last week by Sigala’s Jackson 5-sampling Easy Love.

Victory belongs to Justin today, however – he reclaims his Number 1 throne by over 15,000 chart sales, leaving Sigala at Number 2.

What Do You Mean is the most streamed track of the week, notching up over 3.62 million listens this week.

Calvin Harris and Disciples are back up one to Number 3 with How Deep Is Your Love, which scored over 2.1 million plays this week, while former chart-topper Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself from Jess Glynne slips a place to Number 4.

Another track racking up over 2 million listens this week, The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face is a non-mover and rounds off our Top 5.

New entries and high climbers

R City and Adam Levine rocket 23 places with Locked Away, which lands at Number 16, and he aced Bestival last weekend, now he’s the highest new entry on the Official Singles Chart – British MC Stormzy scores his first Top 40 hit with Wickedskengman4, new at Number 18.

Thanks to its use in a Lloyds Bank TV advert, Birdy’s Wings continues its ascent, leaping 10 spots to Number 19, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Downtown also jumps 10 places at 21.

Electronic trio Nero are new at 27 with Two Minds, Drake rises 17 places to 36 with Hotline Bling, while Fetty Wap scores a second top 40 with 679 ft. Remy Boyz.
