Two more big names have been confirmed to perform at next year's BRIT Awards.

Justin Bieber and Coldplay have been added to the lineup for next year's ceremony, which takes place on Wednesday, February 24 at London's O2 Arena.

Coldplay, who headline the Super Bowl 50 halftime show on February 7, play the BRITs for the first time since 2013. The group earned their first BRIT nomination in 2001 and have since been nominated a staggering 21 times.

BRITs Chairman Max Lousada said: “The BRITs are excited to welcome two of the biggest acts in the world right now to next year’s awards - Coldplay, who are undoubtedly one of our greatest music success stories, and pop sensation Justin Bieber, who will be coming to London for his first ever BRITs performance.

"Next year’s awards is shaping up to be a fantastic night of British and international music."

The BRIT Awards 2016 with MasterCard will take place on Wednesday February 24 2016 at London’s O2 Arena, hosted by Ant & Dec, and will be broadcast live on ITV. More performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
