Jurassic World is officially one of the fastest selling DVDs of 2015

It's been one of the biggest blockbusters of the year; now Jurassic World has become one of the fastest selling DVD/Blu-rays of 2015 after impressive opening week sales. 

The Official Charts Company can reveal that the sci-fi adventure film tops this week's Official Video Chart with sales of 473,000 (495,000 including sales of the Jurassic Park Collection 1 -4 boxset).

The figure makes Jurassic World the fourth fastest seller of the year, behind Fifty Shades Of Grey (first week sales of 521,0000) and The Hobbit - Battle Of The Five Armies (477,000). 

Other big first week sales this year include Paddington (464,000) and Avengers – Age of Ultron (407,000).

Elsewhere on this week's Official Video Chart, last week's Number 1 San Andreas slips to 2, and Lego - Justice League: Attack Of The Legion Of Doom is this week's second-highest new entry at Number 9. 

Elsewhere, the Back To The Future - Trilogy boxset leaps 44 places to Number 10 following last week's 30th anniversary celebrations,  season 4 of Grimm is new at 12, and the second season of Marvel's Agents Of Shield debuts at 19.
