James Bay has been announced as the guest for this week's edition of The Record Club.

The Hertfordshire-born singer-songwriter will be joining us tomorrow (July 13) to sit down and discuss his recently released third studio album, Leap.

This comes at a very exciting time for James. Just yesterday the Official Chart Update revealed that Leap is currently challenging for Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart.

If it gets there by Friday, it would become James' second UK Number 1 album, and his first since 2015's Chaos and the Calm. Discover James Bay’s Official Charts history in full here.

Make sure to tune into The Record Club at 6.30pm this Wednesday (July 12), where James' chat with the BBC's Jess Iszatt will be broadcast live across Facebook, Twitter, Twitch and Youtube.

Fans are encouraged to tune in live and ask questions - we'll be putting a selection to the pair during the stream. If yours is asked during the chat you could be in with a chance to win a pair of Bowers & Wilkins headphones.

Designed as a book club for albums, The Record Club in association with Bowers & Wilkins is a bi-monthly livestream, hosted by BBC Music’s Jess Iszatt, on Facebook Live, Twitch, Twitter and YouTube Live every other Wednesday.

Fans are encouraged to order the selected album from their favourite local record shop either in-store or on home delivery, listen to it in full, then tune into the broadcast armed with their questions for the artist and a chance to win a prize.
