There is no sign of a second album slump for Gerry Cinnamon, who scores his first Number 1 on this week’s Official Irish Albums Chart with The Bonny.

The Scotsman’s latest record debuts at the top spot in Ireland, outperforming his debut Erratic Cinematic, which peaked at Number 8 in November 2019, over two years after its initial September 2017 release.

The Bonny was the most popular album this week on CD, vinyl and download formats; Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia, which drops one place to Number 2, was narrowly Ireland’s most streamed album for a fourth consecutive week.

Another new entry in the Top 10 belongs to DaBaby. The US rapper from Cleveland, Ohio takes out his second chart entry and highest appearance to date with Blame It On Baby at 5.

Finally, art pop artist Fiona Apple claims her first Top 50 album with Fetch The Bolt Cutters at Number 23.
