Queen Elizabeth II is having a few of her pals over to Windsor Castle to celebrate her 90th birthday - a musical line-up of commonwealth pop royalty.

To commemorate her 90th birthday, ITV are broadcasting a special celebration event on May 15th with Gary Barlow, Dame Shirley Bassey and Katherine Jenkins leading the all-star line-up, all well-known for their patriotic exploits.

Gary scored a Number 1 album and single back in 2012 when he released Sing and the lead track of the same name to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. View Gary's complete chart history here.

Dame Shirley Bassey has performed at numerous Royal Variety Performances over the years, and Katherine Jenkins release Celebration this past week, her album of songs dedicated to the Queen's landmark milestone. The album is on-course for tomorrow's Top 10.

Other musicians confirmed for the event include Kylie Minogue, Jess Glynne and James Blunt in addition to performances from the Fijian Armed Forces Band and the South Australian Police Band. Showbiz faces confirmed to recognise Her Maj's big day include Helen Mirren and Jennifer Saunders.

Ant and Dec will host the event, and commented on the line-up: "This spectacular evening will bring together some of the best known names in the entertainment world who will perform with 900 horses and 1,500 participants to mark this very special birthday."
