Fast And Furious 6 spends third week at Number 1

The latest instalment of The Fast And The Furious film series holds on to Number 1 on the Official Video Chart for a third week, while Iron Man 3 regains its Official Blu-ray Chart crown.

For a third week running, Fast And Furious 6 is the UK’s biggest selling video title, OfficialCharts.com can reveal.

The sixth instalment of The Fast And The Furious franchise, which stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and Michelle Rodriguez, knocked Iron Man 3 off the top of the Official Video Chart last month. However, while Fast 6 tops the combined Official Video Chart, the Official DVD Chart and the Official Film On Video genre chart for a third week, Marvel’s latest comic book epic has clawed its way back up to Number 1 on the Official Blu-ray Chart.

New Entries

The Complete Third Season of The Walking Dead is the highest new entry on this week’s Official Video Chart, debuting at Number 2, while Monster High’s 13 Wishes is new in at Number 6, followed by Lego Star Wars's The Yoda Chronicles at Number 7.

US crime thriller The Ice Man, which stars Michael Shannon, Winona Ryder, Chris Evans and Ray Liotta, is new in at Number 13, while Season 8 of Bones enters at Number 18. The DVD release of Doctor Who’s classic serial Terror Of The Zygons, which features Tom Baker as The Doctor and the late Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, debuts at 21, while The Last Exorcism (26) completes this week’s new entries.
