The Lose Yourself rapper will perform at London’s Wembley Stadium this summer.

Eminem has revealed that he is set to play an exclusive gig at London’s Wembley Stadium on July 11.

The show will be the first time Eminem has performed in London in 13 years and will make the US star the first rapper ever to headline the venue. Unveiling the news on Instagram, Eminem told fans "Never mind the b******s… see you soon London".

Eminem will also release his new single, Headlights FT Fun. frontman Nate Ruess, to coincide with his London show. The track, which is taken from the rapper’s Official Albums Chart Number 1 release, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, will be accompanied by a video directed by Spike Lee.

Alongside his current release, Eminem has scored seven other Top 10 albums, with six hitting Number 1; The Marshall Mathers LP (2000), The Eminem Show (2002), Encore (2004), Curtain Call - The Hits (2005), Relapse (2009) and Recovery (2010). As if that wasn’t enough, the success of current album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, earned Eminem the accolade of becoming the first American act to score seven consecutive UK Number 1 albums!

Eminem has also scored an astounding 31 UK Official Singles Chart Top 40 hits and, eight Number 1s; The Real Slim Shady (2000), Stan (2000), Without Me (2002), Lose Yourself (2002), Just Lose It (2004), Like Toy Soldiers (2005), Smack That, with Akon (2006) and The Monster FT Rihanna (2013), all hit the top spot.

Tickets for Eminem’s Wembley Stadium show go on sale on May 9 at 9am and are available from all usual outlets.
