Ed Sheeran will release a new drill remix of his Number 1 single Bad Habits, featuring Tion Wayne and Central Cee.

The new version of the current chart topper - which has sat atop the Official Singles Chart for the past six weeks - will be released on August 12. The news was announced by Tion Wayne on his socials along with a video of the trio in the studio.

Update: Watch the video for Bad Habits (Fumez The Engineer Remix) below.

"Mad love for Ed Sheeran getting me on this Bad habits remix," Tion told his 631,000 Instagram followers. "One of the coolest people I met man had Elton John on FaceTime to me saying hello tion LOOOL I made it mate it’s done".

Tion also confirmed in the post that his debut album is ready and he will be sharing the tracklist soon after the remix's release.

Dance remixes of Bad Habits have been released in recent weeks from the likes of Joel Corry, Meduza and Jubel. Bad Habits became Ed Sheeran's 10th Official UK Number 1 single on release in June, making him just the ninth act to claim 10 or more UK chart-toppers.

Featured artists Tion Wayne and Central Cee are also no strangers to chart success. Wayne claimed the first ever Drill genre Number 1 single in May with Russ Millions collaboration Body, while Central Cee's Wild West mixtape peaked at Number 2 on the Official Albums Chart in March.
