Ed Sheeran holds at Number 1 and claims the highest new entry on this week’s Official Irish Singles Chart

Young Thug, 5SOS, Joyner Lucas, Jess Glynne and Kygo claim new entries this week.

Ed Sheeran is Number 1 on this week’s Official Irish Singles Chart, and claims the honours of being this week’s highest new entry to boot with a second track.

I Don’t Care with Justin Bieber leads the Top 50 for a third week, while Cross Me featuring Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock becomes his 24th Top 10 single at Number 10.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, US rapper Dominic Fike cracks the top flight, scaling five places to Number 6 with 3 Nights.

Young Thug is a new entry at 19 with The London featuring J. Cole and Travis Scott, while 5 Seconds of Summer take out a 15th Top 50 entry with Easier at 25. Joyner Lucas is right behind at 26 with Isis featuring Logic, marking his first Irish Chart appearance as a lead artist, and Jess Glynne & Jax Jones occupy 33 with One Touch, the 12th hit for Jess and 8th for Jax. Kygo & Chelsea Cutler round out the new entries with Not Ok at 47.

James Arthur’s Falling Like The Stars rises 12 positions to become this week’s highest climber (29), while more new peaks are secured for One Republic’s Rescue Me (28), Don’t Worry Bout Me by Zara Larsson (36), and Mark Ronson & Lykke Li’s Late Night Feelings (40).
