Ed Sheeran claims a fourth week at top of Official Albums Chart with No.6 Collaborations Project

Mabel lands the Top 5 with her debut album High Expectations.

Ed Sheeran continues his reign at the top of the Official Albums Chart with No.6 Collaborations Project for a fourth week.

Ed’s latest set notched up 32,000 charts sales this week, made up of 11,000 physical, 2,000 downloads and 19,000 streaming equivalent sales.

Rising star Mabel claims the highest new entry with her debut studio album High Expectations at Number 3. The collection features her latest single Mad Love and Top 3 hit Don’t Call Me Up, the biggest song of the year so far by a British female artist.

Drake’s Care Package – a compilation of songs released between 2010 and 2016 that were previously unavailable – lands at Number 4 on its debut week, becoming Drake’s seventh Top 5 collection.

Danish rock band Volbeat debut at Number 7 with Rewind, Replay, Rebound, their first UK Top 10 album. Just outside the Top 10 is Jax Jones’ Snacks EP, leaping nine places to a new peak of Number 12.

Folk singer-songwriter Karine Polwart’s Scottish Songbook becomes her first Top 40 collection at 34, and finally, American rapper Lil Durk claims his first UK charting album with Love Songs 4 The Streets 2 at Number 39.

I was hoping MABEL to be number 1 this week but with Ed around...we will have to wait next year i guess to see a new number 1!! At least i rather see Ed at number 1 than the dreadful DRAKE!!

I don’t mind Ed still being #1, but what I like much more is Mabel getting the highest new entry of the week.

Top 3 was actually a little better than I was anticipating, but hey, the album is called “High Expectations” after all, haha! :)

Some great tracks on Mabels album too - selfish love, ok (anxiety anthem), high expectations plus all the released songs too. Really liking it.

I still have to listen to the album in its entirety, but I've liked most of the official singles so far! :)
