Plus: The Human League’s 1981 Number 1 Don’t You Want Me looks set to return to the Top 40 this weekend.

Duke Dumont could secure his second chart-topping single this weekend with I Got U FT Jax Jones.

The house track, which samples Whitney Houston’s My Love Is Your Love, looks set to replicate the success of the British DJ and producer’s smash Need U 100% FT A*M*E,which peaked at Number 1 last April.

Route 94’s My Love FT Jess Glynne is a non-mover at Number 2 on today’s Official Chart Update, while John legend’s All Of Me (3) climbs three places. Meanwhile, Little Mix are heading for their fifth Top 5 single with their cover of Cameo’s 1986 hit, Word Up. The track is this year’s official Sport Relief single.

Reigning chart toppers Dvbbs and BorgeousTsunami (Jump) FT Tinie Tempah slips four places to Number 5 midweek.

New Entries

London-based MC and producer Example is heading for his eighth Top 10 hit this weekend with Kids Again. The track, which is the second single to be lifted from his forthcoming fifth studio album, Live Life Living, is new in at Number 10 today.

This week’s new entries are completed by Trey SongzNa Na (17), London Grammar’s Hey Now (35) and Paolo Nutini’s Better Man (38).

And finally, The Human League’s 1981 Number 1 Don’t You Want Me looks set to make a welcome return to the Top 40 this weekend, thanks to a social media campaign by fans of Aberdeen Football Club.

The track, which is the 24th biggest selling single of all-time, is a favourite with fans of the club, who have been known to change the lyrics of the chorus to “Peter Pawlett, baby” after midfielder Peter Pawlett.

Following Aberdeen‘s Scottish League Cup win on Sunday, momentum has been growing, and Don’t You Want Me has entered the Official Singles Chart sales flash overnight. It is at Number 21 on today’s Update, if current momentum continues, the Official Charts Company predicts that this should climb further throughout the remainder of the week.
