Dua Lipa rules the Official Irish Albums Chart for a third consecutive week with Future Nostalgia

The Strokes score this week's highest new entry.

Dua Lipa has claimed a third week atop the Official Irish Albums Chart with Future Nostalgia.

The British singer’s second album was Ireland’s most streamed and physically purchased of the last seven days.

Dua is the first female artist to spend three consecutive weeks at Number 1 in Ireland since Billie Eilish last April with When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.

The Strokes claim this week’s most downloaded album and debut at Number 12 with The New Abnormal, the New York rockers’ sixth Irish Top 20 album. Also in the Top 20, Selena Gomez rockets 16 places to Number 15 with Rare following the release of its deluxe edition.

This past week marked the 10th anniversary of One Direction’s first auditions on The X Factor. Four of the group’s albums feature in this week’s Top 50: Take Me Home (23); Midnight Memories (40); Four (42); and Made in the A.M. (44).

Finally, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez takes out a second Top 50 album with his new mixtape The New Toronto 3 at Number 31.
