DJ Khaled scores two top trending songs in the UK with Drake collaborations Popstar and Greece

The hitmaker offers up two big smashes with the first offerings from his upcoming album Khaled Khaled.

DJ Khaled takes the Top 2 slots on this week’s Official Trending Chart with his brand new Drake-assisted singles.

The tracks are the first two releases from Khaled’s 12^th studio album titled Khaled Khaled, the follow-up to 2019’s Father of Asahd, which debuted at Number 6 on the Official Albums Chart.

Popstar is proving the more popular of the two, currently set to debut at Number 8 on this week's Official Singles Chart. Another one (!), Greece, sits at Number 10 at the midweek point. If they can hold on to their places, they’ll be DJ Khaled’s fourth and fifth Top 10 singles, and Drake’s 21st and 22nd.

Drake has already enjoyed lots of UK chart success in 2020 with four Top 20 peaks under his belt: with Future collaboration Life is Good (3), Number 1 hit Toosie Slide, Chicago Freestyle ft. Giveon (10) and Pain 1993 ft. Playboi Carti (17). See Drake's full Official UK Chart history here.

Other artists making waves with brand new tracks include Kygo & Tina Turner with a remix of Tina’s iconic 1984 hit What’s Love Got To Do With It – set to make a Top 40 debut this Friday – and North London rapper Abra Cadabra with On Deck.

Becky Hill & Sigala's latest Top 40 hit Heaven On My Mind continues its rise, while Summer hit Fake Friends by PS1 ft. Alex Hosking is up nine places midweek to Number 31. Finally, Tom Walker could be on course for a new peak with his latest single Wait For You.
