Starlight by Dave becomes the British rapper’s first Number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart.

The track sees the biggest opening week for a track this year, and indeed the biggest week of chart sales of the year so far. Starlight is Dave’s first new music since the release of his second album We’re All Alone In This Together. As a result, Belters Only take this week’s Number 2 placing with Make Me Feel Good ft. Jazzy, following two weeks at the top.

Dave claims two more places in this week’s chart, with Clash ft. Stormzy (11) and Screwface Capital (44) which enters the Top 50 for the first time.

Meanwhile, Jax Jones climbs into the Top 10 with Where Did You Go ft. MNEK, up five to Number 10.

At Number 16, Camila Cabello scores her 13th Irish Top 50 hit with Bam Bam ft. Ed Sheeran, while Russ Millions’ Reggae & Calypso ft. Buni & YV becomes Russ’ fourth Top 50 hit at Number 17.

Further down, Labrinth & Zendaya soar 19 places with Euphoria track I’m Tired (21), Anyone For You by George Ezra (22) jumps up eight, and Another Love by Tom Odell (30) flies 12 spots.

Finally, there two more brand new entries in this week’s chart; Night Away (Dance) by A1 & J1 ft. Tion Wayne at Number 39, and at 43 is Mr Forgettable by David Kushner, the US singer-songwriter’s second Irish Chart hit.
