Culture Club have shared details of their first new studio album in nearly two decades.

Now being billed as Boy George & Culture Club, the group's sixth studio album Life is their first since 1999, and will be released on digital download, CD, cassette and coloured vinyl on October 26.

"It's about the risk of loving," Boy George said of Let Somebody Love You to Sara Cox on BBC Radio 2. "It talks about how you always seem attracted to people who are trouble. Ultimately, you've got to take the risk to allow yourself to be loved."

Life is being promoted with a tour of the same name, where Belinda Carlisle will act as support. The UK leg kicks off in Nottingham on November 9 at the Motorpoint Arena, culminating in Leeds on November 23.

Funny that the new songs are written as they are from "Boy George & Culture Club". There was a time where there was no need to mention it separately because Boy George WAS Culture Club or at least the most important part of it. Egos my friends, what egos can do now, I think it's kind of sad.
