Cruz Beckham enters Christmas Number 1 race with his debut single

You can never know what to expect in the race for Christmas Number 1, and a new challenger has emerged today in the form of... Cruz Beckham.

Victoria and David's 11-year-old son has released charity track If Everyday Was Christmas, with all proceeds going to children's charity Make Some Noise. The track is now available on iTunes and can be streamed on Spotify and Apple Music.

Cruz's campaign launched today with an appearance on Capital FM's breakfast show to promote his debut single, and he has joined Instagram and Twitter. He's already verified as well - the lucky devil!

The budding popstar is being managed by Scooter Braun, the man who put Justin Bieber on the map, in addition to having the likes of Ariana Grande, Psy and Carly Rae Jepsen as clients.

Cruz has Christmas Number 1 candidacy in his blood, after all his Mum Victoria has three to her name as part of the Spice Girls. Posh and the girls bagged consecutive #XmasNo1 chart toppers from 1996 to 1998 with 2 Become 1, Too Much and Goodbye.
