The band are set to perform in the Camden’s 500-capacity Dingwalls as part of a special show for on BBC Radio 2. It will take place a few days before it’s broadcast on the station December 15.

“Dingwalls is the Camden venue which was hired by Coldplay's first manager (and now fifth member) Phil Harvey while he was still a student, for a Coldplay show on 25 May 1998,” said the band in an official statement. “The money raised that night helped pay for the recording of the band's first release, The Safety EP.”

Tickets for the show will be given away via Radio 2’s website between November 24 and 28.

As previously reported, Coldplay will play four UK stadium shows next summer
