Cheat Codes team up with Demi Lovato on new single No Promises: 'She made it look so easy'

The group team up with the vocal powerhouse on their latest track.

Almost exactly a year ago, LA trio Cheat Codes scored their breakthrough hit with Sex - a re-working of Salt-N-Pepa's '90s classic Let's Talk About Sex that hit the Top 10 and went on to become one of the UK's biggest songs of last summer.

After landing another Top 40 hit later in the year with Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On), the group - comprising of Trevor Dahl, Matthew Russell and Kevin Ford - are back and going big with their latest effort, teaming up with vocal powerhouse Demi Lovato on No Promises.

"No Promises is a concept we've been thinking on for a while now," they told OfficialCharts.com. "The idea that we don't own the people in our relationships. Nothing's guaranteed. Give people the space to be the best versions of themselves and THEN, come together."

Seems like pretty good advice. But what was it like teaming up with a well-known artist for first time on a single?

"She's such a professional in the studio and made it look so easy," they said. "Demi was actually the first artist we thought of when we started working on this track, so we're blessed it was able to work out the way it did! She sounds amazing on it!"
