Celine Dion gives heartbreaking interview about husband's illness
Celine Dion broke down in tears in an interview as she revealed the seriousness of her husband’s condition.
In August 2014, Celine announced she was taking an indefinite break from her music career to “devote every ounce of my strength and energy to my husband’s healing”.
The singer could not hold back the tears as she described her round-the-clock care for husband Rene Angelil, who has been battling throat cancer.
“The fans… they know that I’m an open book,” Celine told US TV channel ABC. “I sing. That’s the only thing I know.” Celine revealed her husband is unable to eat normally following a recent operation, and that she feeds him three times a day through a feeding tube.

In an interview with People Magazine, Celine has also revealed that she is to resume her Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace in August. ”I have to show myself, my husband and my kids that I'm strong and we're okay,” said the star.
