BRIT Awards 2022 nominations in full: Adele, Dave, Ed Sheeran and Little Simz lead with four each

Adele, Ed Sheeran, Little Simz and Dave each pick up four nominations for the 2022 BRIT Awards.

The nominations for the 2022 BRIT Awards have been revealed, with Adele, Ed Sheeran, Little Simz and Dave leading the way with four nods each.

All four artists will also go head-to-head in the coveted Album Of The Year category and Artist Of The Year, both along with Sam Fender, following a hugely successful year for each of them.

The full list of nominations for next year's ceremony were announced on ITV's The BRITs Are Coming, hosted by Clara Amfo and Maya Jama. Performances on the show came from Mimi Webb, Anne-Marie, Glass Animals, and Joel Corry & Gracey.

The winners will be announced a the BRIT Awards 2022 with Mastercard on Tuesday, February 8 at London's O2 arena. The show is broadcast on ITV, hosted by Mo Gilligan.

Four new genre categories - rock, hip-hop, dance, and Pop/R&B - as well as more international categories have been added to the nominations in place of gendered categories.

Meanwhile, the 2022 BRIT Award has been designed in collaboration with British jewellery designer Hannah Martin, who will be creating bespoke sculptures for all British nominees.
