Breaking Dawn ends James Bond’s run at Number 1 on the Official Video

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 has ended Skyfall’s run at the top of the Official Video chart.

The Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn Part 2 has gone straight in at Number 1 on the Official Video Chart.

The latest, and final, instalment of the Twilight franchise has ended Skyfall’s three week run at the top of the Chart, and has also debuted at Number 1 on the Official DVD Chart, Official Blu-ray Chart and Official Film On Video Chart, too.

The Twilight Saga - Complete Collection, which collects together all the previous films in the Twilight series – Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Breaking Dawn Part 2 – is new in at Number 2 on the Official Video Chart, while Skyfall slides two places to Number 3.

This week’s Official Video Chart Top 5 is completed by Argo (Number 4) and Mrs Brown’s Boys – Series 3 (Number 5).

New Entries

In addition to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 (Number 1) and The Twilight Saga - Complete Collection (Number 2), there are three other new entries on this week’s Official Video Chart.

Series 1 of ITV’s hit period drama, Mr Selfridge, is new in at Number 19, while Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman’s The Master is new in at Number 36. Mystery- thriller, The Tall Man, which stars Jessica Biel, debuts at Number 37 on this week’s Official Video Chart.

Disney’s Brave continues its run at Number 1 on the Official Children’s Video Chart, while Andre Rieu’s Happy Birthday and Series 3 of Mrs Brown’s Boys remain at Number 1 on the Official Music Video Chart and Official TV On Video Chart, respectively.
