The rise and rise of Robin Thick continues this week as the US R&B star claims a second week at Number 1 on the Official Streaming Chart.

Launched in May of last year, the Official Streaming Chart is the first chart which ranks audio streams from both ad-funded and subscription streaming services in the UK (including Spotify, Deezer, Napster, Zune, Omnifone, Bloom and We7 among others), to reflect the growing interest in this new generation of music services.

In related news, Blurred Lines, which also features TI and Pharrell Williams, became the UK’s second biggest selling single of 2013 so far, racking up sales of more than 700,000 copies in just four weeks.

This week’s Official Streaming Chart Top 5 remains largely unchained: Naughty Boy’s La La La FT Sam Smith climbs one place to Number 2, while Daft Punk’s Get Lucky FT Pharrell and Nile Rodgers is down one to Number 3. Passenger’s Let Her Go and Macklemore and Ryan LewisCan’t Hold Us FT Ray Dalton hold firm at Number 4 and Number 5, respectively.

Jason Derulo’s The Other Side, which peaked at Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart on Sunday, is new in at Number 43, while Dizzee Rascal’s Goin’ Crazy FT Robbie Williams enters at 89.
