Blink 182 to play London show ahead of festival headline slots

The US rockers will play the London warm up show before headlining Reading and Leeds Festivals later this summer.

Blink 182 have announced they will play a one-off show at London’s Brixton O2 Academy on August 6, before their headlining sets at Reading and Leeds Festivals two weeks later.

The trio have had five Official Albums Chart Top 40s and have also scored 10 Official Singles Chart Top 40 hits to date, with 2000’s All The Small Things giving the group their highest charting track, at Number 2.

Speaking about their upcoming London show, vocalist and bassist, Mark Hoppus, explained, "We're very excited to preface the Reading and Leeds Festivals with this Brixton warm-up date."

Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 27 at 9.30am and are available HERE.
