Bingo Players maintain Official Singles Chart lead

Bingo Players and Far East Movement’s Get Up (Rattle) looks set to spend a second week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.

Bingo Players scored a full house on Sunday when their latest single, Get Up (Rattle) FT Far East Movement,debuted at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.

According to today’s Official Charts Company sales data, the Dutch duo are set to spend a second week at the top of the chart, and are 5,700 copies ahead of their closest competitors, Will.I.Am FT Britney Spears’ Scream And Shout (Number 2).

Taylor Swift’s I Knew You Were Trouble holds firm at Number 3, while Rihanna’s Stay FT Mikky Ekko (Number 4) and Calvin Harris FT Tinie Tempah’s Drinking From The Bottle (5) complete today’s Official Singles Chart Update Top 5. 

New Entries And High Climbers

Devlin looks set to score his third Top 20 single on Sunday, and this week’s highest new entry, with Rewind FT Diane Birch, which is at Number 12 on today’s Update. Meanwhile, The Risk, who were put together from solo contestants during the boot camp stage of the 2011 series of X Factor, are new in at Number 40 with their debut single, Missiles.

Ellie Goulding’s Explosions is this week’s highest climber, up 17 places from Number 33 to Number 16, while 18-year-old Cambridge-based producer Droideka is on course to break into the Official Singles Chart Top 40 on Sunday with Get Hyper, which climbs 10 places to Number 32.

Finally, US rapper Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis’ Thrift Shop FT Wanz continues its ascent up the chart. According to today’s Official Singles Chart Update, the track looks set to break into the Top 10 on Sunday, climbing 16 places from Number 24 to Number 8. Thrift Shop has already topped the charts in Australia, New Zealand and the US’s Billboard Hot 100.
