Billie Eilish is back at Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart for a fifth non-consecutive week.

Pink’s stint at the top with her third chart topper Hurts 2B Human is over after a week (although she did claim the most CD sales this week), as the 17-year-old Californian returns to the chart throne with her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.

We have to go back to 2016 to find the last female soloist to spend as many weeks leading the Top 50; Beyonce’s Lemonade also managed five non-consecutive weeks at Number 1 from April through July that year.  It’s currently enjoying another run on the Irish Albums Chart, this week at Number 16, following its recent addition to all streaming platforms.

Vampire Weekend claim the highest new entry this week with their new album Father of the Bride. The group’s fourth studio LP becomes their third Top 5 entry at Number 5.

Following the release of his new single If I Can’t Have You, Shawn Mendes’ self-titled third album returns to the chart (44), ahead of re-entries from Sigrid’s Sucker Punch (47) and Snacks by Jax Jones (50).
