Oscars fever is in the air on this week's Official Video Chart.

Best Picture winner at the 2018 ceremony, The Shape of Water leads today's Official Video Chart Update, a midweek glance of DVD and Blu-ray sales so far this week in the UK.

While The Shape Of Water leads today's sales flash, it's by no means an easy float to Sunday's Official Number 1 spot. The movie is only 4,000 units ahead of fellow new entry Finding Your Feet, the comedy starring Imelda Staunton and Timothy Spall, at Number 2, plus former Number 1s Black Panther (3) and The Greatest Showman (4) are close behind.

New entries and high climbers

Sporting biopic I, Tonya starring Margot Robbie is skating towards Number 7 this week, Sicario continues its ascent of the Top 40, up ten to Number 12 ahead of the cinematic release of its sequel, and thriller Dark River could impact at Number 22.

Mamma Mia returns at Number 27 ahead of its successor's release in theatres, the uncut version of Escape From Sobibor is a new midweek entry at 29, and finally, Gladiator could sneak into the Top 40 at Number 38 after being released in 4K.
